Facility Hire
Brownlow Community Hub offers a wide range of diverse rooms that can be set-up to accommodate any function or event. All of the rooms are WiFi enabled. The Hub also offers a Changing Places facility, a first for the Craigavon area. In addition hospitality can be ordered for any activities or training within the Hub.
Our Main Hall can seat up to 300 people comfortably. It comes equipped with a built in, state of the art PA system, data projector and electronic screen which is fixed to the wall. There is also electric black out windows for presentations. In addition the room boasts spot lights and the ceiling is acoustically panelled making this an ideal location for music events, talent shows or other large functions. The room is available for sporting classes and is currently used for circuit training, kickboxing, aerobics, badminton, table tennis and martial arts classes.
Our Lounge is a spacious carpeted room which can hold up to 75 people seated. It comes with a fixed projection screen and can be set-up in a variety of ways to accommodate different training events or activities. This room is also popular for Yoga and Pilates classes as the carpet and decor gives a very peaceful and soothing atmosphere.
The Training and Crafts room is located next to the lounge, and in contrast this room is equipped and decorated for any creative activity. Worktops run around the outskirts of the room and these are all washable and hardwearing as is the floor which means that paint, glue, glitter or other creative materials can be wiped away after any activities. This room has a fixed white screen and is equipped with over 20 plugs and computer points which make it an ideal room for computer training.
Our top of the range Kitchen is based off the main foyer and is available to hire as a training space either for cooking courses or health & hygiene courses. The kitchen comes equipped with 12 hobs and 4 large ovens. It also has a large catering fridge, small freezer and a range of cooking utensils available to users who wish to hire this facility.
On the first floor we have our purpose built Studio a mirrored room with a hard wood floor ideal for dance and drama classes. The studio is soundproof and also has an acoustically panelled roof making it ideal for music events and functions. The studio can also be used as a training room and can seat up to 75 people comfortably.
Meeting Room 1 is a medium size carpeted room which can be set-up to suit the activity taking place and depending on set-up can accommodate up to 20 people.
Meeting Room 2 can hold up to 12 people meeting style and is ideal for smaller groups or activities.
Meeting Room 3 is a medium size carpeted room which can be set-up to suit the activity taking place and depending on set-up can accommodate up to 23 people.
Meeting Room 4 can hold up to 10 people meeting style and is ideal for smaller groups or activities.
A Servery is located on the first floor that is available for groups to hire if they wish to serve tea, coffee or refreshments before, during or after their training or activity.
The Hub has a purpose built Child Care Space which includes a medium hall, kitchen, laundry, toilets and a covered outdoor play area.
A new Play park has also been installed at the side of the Hub and is available through a secure gate for those using child care space. It is also available from the main car park during opening hours.
