CRAIGAVON WATERSPORTS CENTRE

Where safety and fun are one

Craigavon is renowned for its watersports and Craigavon Watersports Centre is the foremost facility of its kind in Northern Ireland. Expert instruction is offered in a wide range of water sports in a safe environment including:

  • water-skiing
  • windsurfing
  • canoeing
  • sailing
  • climbing frame activity on the mobile climbing wall
  • banana boating

Activities also extend on-land including orienteering, cycling and team building games. 
Central location

The Centre is located beside the Craigavon Lakes halfway between Portadown and Lurgan in Co. Armagh. It was purpose built in 1998 and is the most modern and well equipped.

The Centre caters for all levels of experience in safety. An enclosed area adjacent to the Centre is ideal for beginners while a larger outer lake offers challenges to those who are ready for a little adventure.

Quality instruction

Qualified instructors use modern and advanced teaching techniques using specialist equipment.

  • For the individual - Comprehensive courses are available on a one-to-one or small group basis.
  • For larger groups - Special discounted packages are available with a mixture of activities. These can be for a few hours or for a full day.
