KINNEGO MARINAKinnego Marina Boats

Whether you visit to relax in the magnificent rural setting of beauty and tranquillity or participate in our range of services available, Kinnego Marina and Oxford Island fulfils all your requirements for an exhilarating day out.

Situated on Lough Neagh beside the Oxford Island National Nature Reserve,  Kinnego Marina is the largest marina on the Lough. It boasts a range of associated amenities on site including skippered boat services, quality instruction in sailing and powerboating.

The site offers 190 fully sheltered berths with deep and shallow water access for vessels drawing less than 1.55 metres. There are also 10 moorings. 

Assistance is provided for launching boats, stepping masts and other related services.  Secured summer and winter storage is provided for 60 boats within the boat park on-site. 

Fully trained and qualified staff on site offer local knowledge, boat tuition and information on safety on Lough Neagh. This includes how to contact HM Coastguard and how to call out the Lough Neagh Rescue Service if any problems are encountered.

From Kinnego Marina, access to the North Atlantic can be obtained via the Lower Bann navigation channel at Coleraine.

One of the oldest Yacht Clubs in Northern Ireland, Lough Neagh Sailing Club, is located at the Marina.  It was established in 1877.

RYA TRAINING CENTRE

Kinnego Marina is recognised as a leader in Northern Ireland in the provision of specialist Royal Yachting Association courses.  Courses are adapted to meet the specific needs of the client and address the day to day operational problems, which may be encountered.

 The level of courses offered are

•          Powerboat course – covers all levels from beginner to instructor training

•          Dinghy sailing courses

•          Keelboat courses

•          RYA PWC courses

•          Sea Survival Courses

•          VHF/DSC Short Range Certificate

•          RYA First Aid Course

 Courses are open to any person or group wishing to start off in boating or to enhance and develop existing boating skills.

WATERSIDE CONFERENCE ROOM

Waterside Conference Room offers panoramic views over Kinnego Marina and is an excellent venue for training, conferences and meetings.

 Waterside Conference Room has a flexible layout which can be tailored to your needs with the latest audiovisual equipment available on request.

 We can also offer a wide range of catering from sit-down meals to finger buffet either hot or cold menu available on request Kinnego Caravan and Camping Park

This fully serviced site is adjacent to the Marina with a modern shower and laundry block.  It has ten touring caravan pitches with electric hook-up and can accommodate up to thirty tents. 

Excellent shopping is available close by in Lurgan only two miles away.  The Park’s location just off the M1 means it is ideal for those wishing to sample the outdoor life in the heart of Northern Ireland.

BOAT TRIPS ON LOUGH NEAGH

Relax and enjoy a boat trip on the fully enclosed Master McGra and experience the delightful shoreline and islands of the largest inland waterway in the British Isles.

The Master McGra is a ten-metre cruiser, which can seat twelve passengers.  The vessel is fully equipped to meet the highest safety standards and is skippered by fully qualified staff.

Trips are available from April – October and normally last half-hour to one hour. Weather permitting, boat trips leave from Kinnego Marina every Saturday and Sunday afternoons during the operating season and also on weekdays by prior arrangement.

PRIVATE CHARTER OF MASTER McGRA

The Master McGra with skipper is also available for private hire for business meetings, corporate hospitality, wedding photos, birthday parties and school groups. Hot and cold catering is available on request.
