The Borough has a wide range of modern and well-equipped indoor leisure facilities, which cater for sports activities for all ages and abilities. 




This complex in Lurgan offers a varied programme of activities throughout the year. The staff are always on hand to give advice and make your visit enjoyable.

The complex includes a 25-metre pool and a children/learner pool with water features especially popular with small children. Swimming lessons are available for both children and adults.

Our corporate Fitness suite “Body Zone” has an excellent range of equipment including treadmills, rowing machines, cross trainers ,steppers, spinning bikes and both resistant machines and loose weights.

Get refreshed and invigorated in the health suite with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

Other activities on offer include: Aerobics, Yoga, Pilates , Circuit training, Spinning Classes (an aerobic workout on an exercise bike) and Aquarobics (a workout in the water)

We have “Early Birds “ Swimming and Gym sessions from 7.30am to 9.00am Monday – Friday for those who like to train before work .

Craigavon Leisure Centre



Craigavon Leisure Centre located in the Brownlow area, has a wide range of facilities with two swimming pools, a main multi-purpose hall, a minor hall, a Bodyzone gym and squash courts. Outside there is a large synthetic pitch and a small multi use synthetic pitch, both of which are floodlit.

Activities on offer include swimming, trampolining, junior gymnastics, archery, judo, ju-jitsu, volleyball, tabletennis, squash, badminton, hockey and football.

For your safety, all the staff in the Centre are trained to the highest standards. Only qualified lifeguards and sports coaches are employed.

Our fully qualified Bodyzone fitness instructors will make you feel welcome and show you the wide range of equipment. No matter whether you want to reduce, enlarge or tone-up, they will be able to offer you advice and help. For regular users Bodyzone membership is available.

A number of sports clubs in the Craigavon area are based in the Centre including: Craigavon Archery Club, Craigavon Squash Club, Lurgan Amateur Swimming Club, Wakai-Si-Kwai Craigavon (Judo) and Lurgan Ladies Hockey Club..

It's a great place for Children's birthday parties. They will have fun - you will relax! . We can put together an activity package especially for your children e.g. bouncy castle, swimming, soccer, table tennis, volleyball or badminton, plus we provide the party food and drinks in a reserved area of our 'Balcony Cafe'. With Bouncy castle, Nessie pool inflatable and floats there is always something on offer for children.

Our Balcony Cafe is open throughout the day for meals and snacks. We can even provide you with a carry out service.

The Saturday 'Junior Day Ticket' is great value and very popular with children. The one payment covers all available activities including swimming and to make sure they get something to eat we also include a portion of chips in the price.

September sees the return of table tennis to Craigavon which was once a hotbed for table tennis with many ex Irish internationals hailing from the local area.

Organised by Table Tennis Ulster in partnership with Craigavon Borough Council, there will be a 10 week coaching course held at Craigavon Leisure Centre every Wednesday night from 7pm – 9pm commencing on 21st September. These sessions are designed for children aged 8-17 years old and is an excellent opportunity for players to learn the basic skills and rules of table tennis, meet new friends and primarily have FUN!

Fully qualified coaches will be on hand to teach the basic skills, techniques and fun games each session with the players working towards their Bronze skills certificate!

The cost is £2 per child and parents are advised that children should wear appropriate clothing (t-shirts, tracksuit bottoms/shorts and trainers). Children should bring water with them to each session. All coaching equipment will be provided.

All standards are welcome. Beginners are particularly encouraged! There are still spaces left on this course.

Cascades Leisure Complex





Do you want to have fun in a safe and friendly environment?
Cascades can offer you just that where quality service is assured.

This complex in Portadown has a 33-metre pool with diving boards and children’s/learner pool, Jacuzzi, Steam Room and Sauna.

Come along to the many Swimming Lessons - whether you are young or old, you can improve your skills and gain confidence in the water.

The complex has a modern fitness suite, BODYZONE, where you can enjoy a workout on a selection of cardiovascular and resistance machines.

Organized activities in the Complex include Aerobics, Aqua fit, Life saving, Sub-Aqua, Karate and Taekwondo.

For young children there is the Kidzone crèche play area.
