Councillor Dr Weir is a member of the Leisure Services, Development, Environmental Services and Policy & Resources Committees. He also represents Council on a number of outside bodies including Craigavon Community Safety Partnership, Craigavon Cycling Forum, Craigavon District Policing Partnership, Craigavon Industrial Development Organisation - Director, Lagan Canal Trust Steering Group, the National Association of Councillors (NI) Region, the Southern Education and Library Board and the Southern Group Committee (Environmental Health).
