Councillor Harkness is Chairman of the Leisure Services Committee and a member of the Environmental Services Committee. He represents Council on a number of outside bodies including;- Brownlow Ltd, Craigavon Cycling Forum, Craigavon Community Safety Partnership, Craigavon District Policing Partnershp, Edenvilla Ltd, Mayfair Business Centre, the Southern Education & Library Board and the Southern Waste Management Partnership.
