Councillor Nelson MSc is a member of the Development Committee and the Policy & Resources Committee. He also sites on the Audit Committee, the Voluntary Transition Committee, the Estimates Working Group and is an Account Scrutineer. He also represents Council on a number of outside bodies including;- CIDO, Craigavon Integrated Regeneration Partnership, East Boarder Region MemNILGA, Peace III Partnership & Statutory Joint Committee, Shankill( Lurgan) Community Project and the Southern Organisation for Action in Rural Areas (SOAR) Joint Committee (JC).
