The District Rates to be levied on all rateable property within the Borough for the financial year commencing 1st April 2013 have been determined as follows:

Domestic: 0.3907p in the pound
An increase of 0.0061p in the £ or 1.59%

Non Domestic: 25.1627p in the pound
An increase of 0.3945p in the £ or 1.59%

The Regional Rates for both Domestic and Non-Domestic property for the financial year commencing 1 April 2013 have been determined by the Department of Finance and Personnel as follows:

Domestic: 0.3882p in the pound.
An increase of 0.0102p in the £ or 2.7%

Non Domestic: 33.02p in the pound.
An increase of 0.87p in the pound or 2.7%

The District Rate and Regional Rate will be collected together by the Land & Property Services.

Irish and Ulster Scots Voicemail Service

The Council now provides an Irish and Ulster Scots voicemail service for any member of the public who wishes to ring using these languages. Simply ring the Council and ask to be put through to the service.  You will then hear a voicemail message in that language and be asked to leave your message.  We will then have your message translated and a response sent.
