Craigavon Borough Council is committed to achieving effective consultation with all stakeholders. The information from this work helps ensure that the decisions we makes, particularly with regard to service provision, are the right decisions.
Why consult?
- To help Council plan its services to best meet the needs of the Borough
- To help Council prioritise its services and make better use of resources
- To alert Council to problems so that these can be addressed before they escalate
- To encourage local people to participate and enable them to play a role in influencing service delivery
The Council carries out a number of surveys on a regular basis, the largest being the bi-annual household survey. This survey of 400 households in the Borough is conducted by means of face to face interviews with quotas based on geographic area to ensure a balanced view.
Results of key surveys will be added to this webpage.
Please note that details of consultations relating to equality matters can be found under the Equality section of the website.
