Craigavon Borough Council would like to remind householders that Green and Blue Bin Collection calendars are available at a variety of Council facilities and libraries, detailing which bin you should put out each week as well as a reminder of what materials you can put into the green bin.

The calendars are available at the following sites: Fairgreen Recycling Centre, Newline Recycling Centre, Portadown Town Hall, Lurgan Town Hall, Lough Neagh Discovery Centre, Carn Depot, Cascades Leisure Complex, Waves Leisure Complex, Craigavon Leisure Centre and the libraries in Portadown, Lurgan and Brownlow.

Craigavon currently recycles 37 per cent of household waste which exceeds the government target of recycling 35 per cent of household waste by 2010. The next target is to recycle 45 per cent of by 2020 – and Craigavon is well on course to meet this goal.

The leaflets are free of charge or alternatively the calendar is also available to view online at www.letsgetsorted.net
